Home&Work supports five independent to-do lists:

• Personal - for all the personal/private tasks;
• Home - for the home/family-related tasks;
• Business - things to do at work;
• School - common tasks for school and college students;
• Project - for pet projects/hobbies.

The predefined tasks in Home&Work contribute to considerably reduced needs for typing. Let's face it: your iPhone is a fascinating device, but not very well equipped for entering textual information. Typing on the go may be a frustrating experience at times. There is an obvious difference between tapping on a 'phone call' icon vs. manually typing the word 'call'. All predefined tasks are associated with easy to read 'icons', further simplifying both data entry and reading. In many cases, it would suffice to simply pick a task without entering any additional information; the task's icon will tell you all that's needed. Not all of us want to record all the details; sometimes all we need is a quick reminder — and Home&Work excels at providing that.

Home&Work is tightly integrated with standard iPhone apps, popular search engines, and shopping web sites. Based on the information entered for a specific task, the user is presented with a choice of 'buttons' that launch other applications with a single tap.
To mention just a few:

• Phone call task facilitates one-touch dialing to a contact from iPhone’s Address Book;
• Email task lets you launch the iPhone’s Email app, and transfers the task’s notes to the newly created email message;
• Online shopping task allows for instant search on Google, Yahoo, eBay, and Amazon.com;
• Appointment tasks with location entered can open Google Maps and pinpoint the location for you;
• Go-movies reminder can take you to Fandango for purchasing tickets, and to IMDb for reviews and more.

All the tasks are displayed by Home&Work in 'sections': overdue, today, tomorrow, this week, next week, future, and completed. This helps evaluating the upcoming events at a glance, with color coding and 'icons' making things even easier to read with a single glance at the screen. Tapping on a task reveals further details.
